The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive)
Introduced into UK law in January 2007 with the aim of reducing the amount of electrical and electronic equipment being produced and to encourage recycling. So if you are a business, hospital, school or government agency you need to ensure that all WEEE is collected, treated and recycled.
Mulberry Waste provides a comprehensive range of WEEE compliant waste disposal management and recycling solutions and can supply crates or other suitable packaging where required. Collections are easy to arrange and our own fleet of vehicles are on hand to remove the full scope of WEEE materials.

As well as WEEE equipment, Mulberry can also offer a comprehensive service for discarded Lamps and Fluorescent Tubes. With a licensed processing facility, Mulberry is able to treat a comprehensive range of lamps, including fluorescent light tubes, sodium lighting and other gas discharge lamps.
We have a range of sturdy containers available, offering delivery and collection options to suit you, and a clear, “no contract” pricing structure. So, whether you need to dispose of ten fluorescent tubes or mixed pallets of lamps, Mulberry’s services offer you the flexibility and environmental assurance only available by dealing direct with the processor.
Batteries also fall within our capabilities and we can offer a collection service for all types of battery including those from household and commercial properties. ‘Battery Boxes’ can be supplied to safely store your batteries prior to collection.
